I can see the fader on Vocal Rider moving, but nothing is being written to my channels automation.Īnybody who use Vocal Rider know what I am doing wrong? I seem to have the Sidechain setup, and believe I have the correct modes setup on both the Vocal Rider and my track, but no automation is being written.

If the actual track fader in Studio One is not moving, no automation can be written. I just looked at it and it does not appear to be able to do that. As long as it is actively leveling my volume, I suppose it does not necessarily have to write automation I was just looking for that as a visual that it was indeed working. I thought it actually wrote the automation. That can only be done with hardware or with a mouse, so far as I know. Are you wanting Vocal Rider to write the automation? Or are you doing it manually? Vocal Rider will not write automation in Studio One.
